Jeffrey has over 20 years of institutional investment management experience, including manager due diligence, risk management and asset allocation for multi-manager products. Jeffrey has served as TAG’s Chief Investment Strategist since 2005. His primary responsibilities include manager selection and asset allocation for TAG's proprietary fund products and for client portfolios. He joined TAG in 2000 as Director of Investment Research and Portfolio Manager of the TAG Relative Value Fund, which was TAG's first hedge fund of funds product. Prior to joining TAG in 2000, Jeffrey managed two offshore, multi-manager hedge fund portfolios for a group of private European investors. Upon receiving his MBA, Jeffrey began his investment management career building and managing multi-manager portfolios for Charles Schwab Investment Management as the Senior Analyst for Schwab's mutual fund of funds products.
John S. Pantowich

John joined TAG in 1994 and has over 20 years investment management experience. John works closely with TAG portfolio management clients on all areas related to asset allocation, manager selection, and customization of performance reporting. He meets frequently with both traditional and alternative investment managers. John also works with TAG portfolio management clients and their other advisors on matters pertaining to estate, insurance, and tax planning. John is actively involved in activities of TAG EisnerAmper, LLC, a joint venture with EisnerAmper LLP, an independent accounting firm. Prior to joining TAG, John spent 5 years working in various capacities in the music industry. He is a member of TAG's Investment Committee.
Jonathan M. Bergman, CFP®

Jonathan has over 18 years of investment management experience, exclusively managing assets for high net worth families. He serves as portfolio manager to client accounts and conducts investment manager due diligence. Jonathan helps TAG portfolio management clients and their advisors integrate all aspects of their personal financial life, including investments, estate, insurance, and income tax planning. Jonathan ha a strong background in private equity manager selection as well as direct coinvestment diligence. Additionally, he serves as a member of the advisory board of a private equity partnership. Jonathan joined TAG in 2012 from Palisades Hudson Financial Group, where he served as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing strategy and management of client investment portfolios and chairing the investment committee. Jonathan currently serves as a Director of Career Gear, a public charity that provides programming, services and business attire to disadvantaged men. He is past Chairman of The Wisconsin Business Alumni Board of the Wisconsin School of Business. He is a member of TAG's Investment Committee.
Jorge L. Gonzalez, Esq.

Jorge is a managing director and in-house counsel at TAG Associates LLC. He joined the firm in February of 1999 and is responsible for the administration of TAG's proprietary fund of funds products. As in-house counsel and administrative officer, he is the company's primary liaison with outside lawyers, auditors, custodians, and administrators. In addition, he is the firm's designated Chief Compliance Officer with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Futures Association. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Prior to entering the legal profession, he was employed as a medical (laboratory) technologist and served six years active duty in the US Navy. Jorge served on the Board of Directors of VIP Community Services, a Bronx charity, from 2006 through 2014. He is a member of TAG’s Investment Committee.
Maria Shtrapenina, CFA

Maria is responsible for analyzing and recommending publicly-traded equity and fixed-income strategies accessed through separately-managed accounts, mutual funds, and ETFs. She also focuses on investment manager research and portfolio management within Liquid Alternatives. Prior to joining TAG, Maria spent over eight years at Asset Alliance Corporation, most recently as Director, Research and Investments, focusing on manager research and due diligence across various strategies and asset classes. Prior to Asset Alliance, Maria was at Deutsche Bank where she performed risk management and monitoring functions for Deutsche Bank's managed account platform. Prior to Deutsche Bank, she was an auditor at the Financial Services division of KPMG LLP. Maria is a member of TAG's Investment Committee.

Ted, who joined TAG in 2006, is a Director and Associate Portfolio Manager of the TAG Relative Value Fund. Ted focuses on manager research, portfolio construction and risk management. This includes sector allocation analysis and manager selection along with the maintenance of TAG's proprietary database. Ted has 15 years of hedge fund experience focusing on counterparty credit risk management and absolute return strategies. He began his hedge fund career at Lehman Brothers in 1997 where he was responsible for managing credit relationships with hedge fund managers, supporting sales/trading desk efforts with those managers by setting credit limits, approving trades, and determining trade terms. Ted continued in this capacity at Chase Manhattan Bank and Deutsche Bank through 2002, when he joined Citigroup's fund-of-funds group. From 2002 to 2006, Ted performed manager due diligence, research and risk management functions, becoming a senior analyst on the credit/event driven strategies team. From 1990 to 1997, he was a counter party credit risk analyst focusing on bank and non-bank financial institutions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group. He is a member of TAG's Investment Committee.
Haydar A. Sungkar

Haydar joined TAG in 1986 upon graduating from Queens Borough Community College where he served as a member of the Accounting Association and as head of the Accounting Tutoring Program. While working at TAG as a portfolio accountant and tax preparer, Haydar continued his studies in finance at Baruch College. From 1984 to 1992 he served on the Board of Directors of the International American Student Association. In 1993, Haydar became the manager of TAG's new stand-alone Portfolio Accounting Department.
